The Classic Banana smoothie - A fast recipe for people on the move
1 scoop Ideal breakfast shake
1 over ripe banana
200 ml low fat milk of your choice(dairy, rice, soy or almond)
Blend and serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon.

Banana Raspberry Smoothie for 2

Buy a bunch of bananas, peel and snap into halves, put in ziplock bag in freezer - this will be a few weeks worth.

  • 1/4 cup favourite juice (I use apple mango - don't use an orange based one, think it makes it weird)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 handful frozen raspberries
  • 2 heaped dessert spoons plain yoghurt (I use Jalna Greek style)
  • 1 handful raw macadamia nuts
  • 1 scoop Ideal Breakfast Shake powder

Put into blender and wizz....

- by using frozen fruit + nuts you don't need to add ice or sorbet to make the smoothie thick rich and cold, the fruit does that for you.
